September 7, 1781. The night before the battle of Eutaw Springs, General Nathaniel Green confers with his commanders. Among them were Francis Marion, Andrew Pickens, Lighthorse Harry Lee, William Washington Otho Williams and Jetro Sumner.
 
This may be the only painting depicting this particular group of Revolutionary War leaders together.
